
The Copperbelt University has made tremendous progress in its Infrastructure Development Programme. The most latest achievement is the signing of a new contract for the construction of 48 bed space female hostels. The K2bn Phase 1 Hostels Construction Contract was awarded to a Zambian firm, Mace Construction Limited of Lusaka on 24th December, 2008.
In an effort to contribute to the enhancement of tertiary education, the Copperbelt University has entered into partnerships and affiliations with a number of colleges to provide expertise in quality control & capacity building.
The Copperbelt University new Council has been appointed. The Council was inaugurated at a joint ceremony held in Lusaka at the University of Zambia on Sunday, 26th October, 2008
The Copperbelt University was a hive of activity as it celebrated the 41st African University Day which falls on 12th November.
