Admission Criteria for School of Natural Resoucrces
Undergraduate Degree Programmes in particular BSc Forestry
The applicants should satisfy the following requirements:-
Schedule A
At least ordinary level passes in Mathematics and English Language
and Biology/Botany/Agricultural Science All of which are compulsory
Schedule B
Any other subjects not included in Schedule A above. The list is
not exhaustive:-
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Science
- Physical Science
- Additional Mathematics
- Economics
- Geography/History
- Literature in English
- A language other then English
- Computer Science
- Commerce
- Principles of Accounts
Undergraduate Degree Programmes in particular BSc
Wood Science and Technology
The applicants should
satisfy the following requirements:-
Schedule A
Passes in Mathematics and English Language. It's compulsory
Schedule B
Any one(1) and two(2) subjects from subjects below:
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Science
- Physical Science
- Biology
- Botany
- Agricultural Science
Schedule C
Any one(1) or two(2) subjects from:
- Additional Mathematics
- Economics
- Gegraphy/History
- Literature in English
- Commerce
Special Cases
- Diploma in Forestry (second class or better)
- Diploma in related discipline (second class or better)
- Passes in five(5) subjects at School Certificate level
with at least 'C' in English
- Mathematics and other three(3) other subjects
Note: Special consideration may be made for
relevant Diploma holders to be admitted in the second year
