About the host University
The Copperbelt University is the 2nd largest public University in Zambia with a student body approaching 6000. Its academic niche is in the business, science, and technology disciplines. The University is comprised of six Schools and the Directorate of Distance Education and Open Learning: the School of Business, the School of the Built Environment, the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the School of Natural Resources, the School of Technology, and the School of Graduate Studies. The CBU is a member of the SADC Higher Education Research Network exploring ESD and Quality and Relevance of Education and the Mainstreaming Environment and Sustainability into African Universities Partnerships. It is a member of the Zambia Network of Environmental Educators and Practitioners (ZANEEP).
