DHIPS Personnel

The Institute staff complement is designed to respond to the DHIPS’s vision and mission and the operationalization of the Institute’s activities in an incremental manner with the growth of the Institute over time. The staff compliment is as follows:

1. One Director (who also teaches and undertakes research);
2. Four Coordinators (who also teach and undertake research in the Institute);
3. Three Professorial Chairs in Human Rights, Governance and Peacebuilding; Human Security and Development; and Environment, Sustainable Development and Peace;
4. Six Lecturers who also undertake research in the Institute;
5. One Staff Development Fellow;
6. Four Special Research Fellows;
7. Three Research Associates (nucleus for the Strategic Studies Group (SSG) who would also teach in the Institute);
8. One Assistant Registrar;
9. One Management Secretary;
10. Two Secretaries;
11. Two Clerical Officers;
12. One Library Assistant;
13. One IT/Academic Assistant;
14. One Filling Clerk;
15. Duplicator; and
16. One Messenger/Cleaner
