Applications for Admission to The 2012 Academic Year

The Copperbelt University has introduced two new Programmes commencing during the 2012 Academic Year. Consequently, Applications are invited from suitably qualified SCHOOL LEAVERS, NON SCHOOL LEAVERS and SPECIAL CASES for admission as follows:

School of  Business

Bachelor of Science in Economics (BScEcon)

ENTRY REQUREMENTS

Applicants seeking to read for the Bachelor of Science in Economics should have obtained at least five (5) “O” Level at Credits or better, including English and Mathematics at Grade 12 level.

APPLICATION FORMS

Application forms can be obtained from the Copperbelt University, Jambo Drive, Riverside, Kitwe.
Application forms can also be obtained from Post Offices in all major Districts of Zambia.
Application forms can also be downloaded from the University website at: (http://www.cbu.edu.zm/application-form).

METHOD OF PAYMENT

1. Application forms are obtainable from the University Cashier’s Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of K120, 000.00.   Applicants using postal or telegraphic money orders should include K3,000.00 for postage payable to the University Cashier’s Office, Copperbelt University. Payment can also be deposited into the Bank Account given below and proof of payment must be shown on submission or collection of the form:

2. Downloaded forms from the University website should be paid for at a cost of       K120, 000.00 at the time of submission, failure to which they would not be processed.
3. Forms purchased from either Copperbelt University Cashier or the Post Offices will be by cash payment.

CLOSING DATE:

The closing date for sale of application forms is Friday 28th October, 2011 and the deadline for receipt of the same is 25th November, 2011. Forms received after the closing date will not be considered for selection.
