Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Programmes

For admission to Undergraduate Degree/Diploma Programmes( except Degree in Civil Engineering), the applicant should satisfy the following requirements:

1. At least ordinary level passes in Mathematics and English Language and anyone Science subject from:
   
   1. Science
   2. Physical Science
   3. Physics
   4. Chemistry
2. Two (2) subjects from:
   
   1. Additional Mathematics
   2. Biology
   3. Economics
   4. Principles of Accounts
   5. Commerce
   6. History
   7. Literature in English
   8. Geometrical and Mechanical Drawing
   9. Geometrical and Building Drawing
   10. A Language other than English
   11. Computer Science
   12. Geography
   13. Religious Knowledge
   14. Wood Work

Admission to a Degree in Civil Engineering

For admission to a Degree in Civil Engineering, an applicant should satisfy the following requirements:

1. At least Ordinary level passes in English and Mathematics (both subjects compulsory)
2. Two subjects from:
   
   1. Science
   2. Chemistry or Physics
   3. Physical Science
   4. Additional Mathematics
   5. Geometrical and Building Drawing or
   6. Mechanical Drawing
3. Any other one subject offered at School Certificate not mentioned above.

However, a separate system of entry is available to non-school leavers. As a general rule, students with a Certificate or Diploma from the Copperbelt University who wish to further their studies to degree level may be granted exemptions.
