Introduction

The Bachelor of Engineering degree programmes are offered on a full time basis and are taught in 15 terms spread over five (5) years, except for the Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical (Power) which is offered in the evening and which has a duration of six years.

General Programme Objectives

The Bachelor of Engineering programmes are intended to prepare students for a career as professional engineers, through an education built upon fundamental principles of lasting value in the context of real applications and design experience. This involves a high level of technical knowledge and understanding and, most importantly, the skill and ability to apply this to design.
