The degree of Bachelor of Science shall be classified as distinction, merit, credit or pass.
In calculating the grade of degrees the following shall be applied for the grades obtained in the 3rd and 4th year of study:

| A+ | 5 | 2.5 |
| A | 4 | 2 |
| B+ | 3 | 1.5 |
| B | 2 | 1.0 |
| C+ | 1 | 0.5 |
| C | 0 | 0 |
In calculating the grade of degree, the following shall be applied;
| Average Score Per Course | Grade of Degree |
| 3.5 | Distinction |
| 2.5 | Merit |
| 1.5 | Credit |
| 0 | Pass |
Computation for the purposes of the classification of the degree shall be based on the number of courses in the programme. The following example shall be the basis of computation.
