Bachelor of Science (Agroforestry)
Ordinary level certificate
To qualify for admission to the degree of BSc (Agroforestry) a candidate must obtain credits in at least five subjects in the Zambian School Certificate or equivalent as follows:-
- English
- Mathematics/Additional Mathematics
- Biology/Botany/Agriculture Science
- Two subjects from the following
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Science
- Physical Science
Diploma holders
For the candidate in this category to qualify for admission to the degree of BSc (Agro forestry) he/she must:
- Possess a diploma (second class and above or equivalent) in Forestry or Agriculture from recognized institutions of learning; and
- Have passes in at least five subjects in the Zambia School certificate or related discipline with at least 'C' in;
- English
- Mathematics
- Biology
- and any two (2) subjects from the following:-
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Science
- Physical Science.
The duration of the BSc (Agro forestry) degree programme for the Ordinary Level Certificate School levers is four years while special consideration may be made for Diploma holders to be admitted in the Second year of study.
