Computer Science Department
The Computer Science Department which
is one of the four departments in the School of Technology
was established in 1995. This was after the Department developed
and started offering the first ever Bachelor of Science Degree
in Computer Science.
The programme is a single major and is designed around a eries of core mandatory hardware and software-oriented courses that are to ensure that all relevant topics in Computer Science are covered
Currently, the Department offers a 2 1/2 years Diploma in Information Technology and a 3 months
Certificate course in Computer Applications. Besides offering
academic programmes on full-time and part-time basis, the
Department also conducts workshops and seminars and carries
out consultancy.
