The Center's main function is to organize short and part-time courses, seminars and conferences.
The Centre's objective is to expand the depth and range of extra-mural education to meet the expectations of a wider range of the Zambian population

Target Groups

These short courses are targeted at the community at large. Commerce and industry from time to time require that their employees both new and old are brought up to the technological face through in-service training. The other target group for short courses are individuals who want to take courses for their personal improvement.

The centre for Lifelong Education has an increasing important role to play in the Zambian society in complementing the education system by providing lifelong education. The Centre in a small way compensates for inequalities in education, initial training and raises the level of knowledge to new domains
